My journey…

As a dietitian you might think I know and follow some sort of “perfect diet”. Well, maybe that’s the story for some dietitians out there (in some alternate perfect universe, hah!), but that’s not my story. I actually have tried multiple diets, for multiple reasons. And what I’ve learned from my intuitive eating journey is that what matters most to me is the feeling of utter freedom I have to thoroughly enjoy the foods I choose to eat (ALL. OF. THEM.).

Mindfulness and Intuitive Eating is a pathway to a life where you’re free to eat the way you intuitively know and want to eat that honors hunger and health on equal grounds. I know that SOUNDS a bit scary or maybe even a little woo-woo. But in the long run, it’s better than dieting.
